How much will my matter cost?
We usually charge according to scale rates where applicable with a general care and consideration component.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of your legal fees. We are flexible, however we also need to earn a living.
Charges generally include an hourly rate plus outlays, expenses and GST.
How often should I revise my will?
Whenever your circumstances change. Examples are:
- You get married;
- You become a parent;
- An executor dies;
- A beneficiary dies;
- A bankruptcy or family law matter affecting someone mentioned in the will;
- You move overseas;
- Changes in legislation;
As a guide, we recommend that you review your will at least every two years.
How often should I revise my Enduring Power of Attorney?
Whenever your circumstances change. Examles are:
- You get married;
- You become a parent;
- An existing attorney dies or becomes incapable;
- An bankruptcy or family law matter affecting someone mentioned in the EPA;
- Someone mentioned in the EPA becomes incapable of handling their own affairs;
We recommend that you review your EPA at annually.
